Series 500 Mechanical Stage Collar and Plug
CTE offers the Series 500 Mechanical Stage Collar and plug set for applications where the opening trip device can gravitate to the stage collar. The stage collar features a two piece outer construction with internal sleeves that have anti-rotation internal locks to prevent rotation during drill out.

All materials within the drift diameter, inclusive of the plug set, have been design for quick and efficient drill out. The design eliminates entrapment of fluid during the closing of the cementing ports to ensure complete locking of the inner sleeve and sealing of the tool. The use of a double set of seals is utilized between the collar and the sleeves. High temperature seals can be installed for use in applications where operating temperatures exceed 300 degrees F. The standard plug set is comprised of a first stage flexible follow plug and landing plate, opening trip device and closing plug.

Plug sets for use in continuous cementing applications or plug sets with lead and follow plugs for the first stage cement are available for use with the 500 Series Stage Cementing Collar.
